Quretec‘s project is supported by Norway Grants Green ICT programme

Quretec OÜ‘s project in partnership with Migrevention OÜ (2014-2021.1.02.21-0157) „Development of Migrevention Digital Headache Clinic“ is supported by Norway Grants Green ICT programme, aiming to stimulate and develop innovation-led long-term business cooperation between Estonia and Norway. The project aims to improve the availability of evidence-based migraine treatment by creating a fully digital and cost-effective digital headache clinic consisting of a patient's mobile application and a specialist's desktop connected to each other. The specialist desktop will be built on the core functionalities of Quretec’s Qure Platform. The total support to the project partners from the Norway Grants Green ICT programme is 332,943.40 EUR. The implementation period is 01 Jun 2021 – 31 May 2023.

Quretec‘s project is supported by Norway Grants Green ICT programme

Quretec OÜ‘s project (EU53928) „Development of My Health Study for data collection and feedback of personalized health information“ is supported by Norway Grants Green ICT programme, aiming to stimulate and develop innovation-led long-term business cooperation between Estonia and Norway. The objective of the project is to develop a mobile-friendly user interface denoted My Health Study for data collection and the return of personalized health information to study or biobank participants which also meets high security requirements. The app will be built on the core functionalities of Quretec’s current platform (Qure Platform). The total support to the project partners from the Norway Grants Green ICT programme is 529449,20 €. The implementation period is 01.09.2020 – 31.10.2022.

Quretec‘s project is supported by Norway Grants Green ICT programme

Quretec OÜ‘s project (EU53343) „Tervise ja elustiili andmekogumise ja -haldamise süsteemi arendamise eeluuringud“ is supported by Norway Grants Green ICT small scheme programme, aiming to stimulate and develop innovation-led long-term business cooperation between Estonia and Norway. The small scheme project is necessary to prepare for the main call project in order to further develop Qure Data Management platform. The idea is to combine existing gene data with information about gene donors lifestyle, environment, health, medications, etc. This will enable to make further connections between genetic variations and gene-related diseases, initiative preventive measures and individual therapy. Green ICT small scheme project is necessary to assess feasibility of the project, carry out business studies, map users needs and put together development plan for the platform. The implementation period is 01.07.2019 – 31.10.2019.

Description of the project: The vision of the Software Technology and Applications Competence Centre (STACC) is to become a leading R&D organisation where companies and public sector agencies can access expertise in (big) data analytics and codevelop visionary technology product. STACC’s main business is providing data analytics and data privacy protection services to help companies to bring highquality services faster to the market. STACC has four strategic development areas: 1) Data Analytics for Software and Systems Optimization, 2) SpatioTemporal Data Analytics, 3) Big Data and Security, and 4) EHealth and Personalised Medicine. STACC strongly contributes to Estonian IT education and enhances research partners’ capacity in the field of data analytics and its applications.

Objective: The main objective of the Project is to turn STACC into a leading and economically independent R&D organisation where companies can access expertise in data analytics and codevelop visionary technology products.

Outcome:

  1. 1. Estonia has a world-class technology competence centre with a substantial expertise in data analytics that support Estonian ICT sector
  2. 2. STACC helps 23+ companies to bring their scalable technology products faster to global market in the frames of the CC Program and helps more than 50 companies by providing services commercially in the field of data analytics
  3. 3. Ratio of sales generated from new products for partner enterprises rises 41%, their R&D costs increase in average 4% and added value per employee 12,5% per year
  4. 4. STACC strongly contributes to Estonian IT education and enhances research partners’ capacity in the field of data analytics and its applications.
